About this course

Start from how attackers actually think, then build the defensive instincts that follow from it. You will work inside deliberately vulnerable labs, run real reconnaissance and exploitation against them, and then harden the same systems you just broke. It picks up where Security Foundations ends, so you should be comfortable with networking, Linux and how websites work before you begin. Every module ends with a write-up in the format security teams expect, so by the end you have a portfolio of findings, not just a certificate.

What you will be able to do

task_alt Run a structured penetration test from reconnaissance through reporting
task_alt Identify and exploit the OWASP Top 10 in a real application
task_alt Harden Linux servers and network boundaries against the attacks you just ran
task_alt Read logs and triage alerts the way a SOC analyst does
task_alt Write findings reports that stand up to a client review
